Underground Ladderways
Modular ladderway and rest-platform systems for underground escapeways, rises, shafts and personnel access routes.
Metron Engineering underground ladderways are developed for installations where access geometry, underground handling constraints and staged installation are key design considerations. Modular sections can be sized so they can be transported through the mine and assembled at the installation location. Ladder flights, landings, rest platforms, guarding and support brackets can be coordinated as a complete access system. The arrangement can be developed for vertical or inclined openings and adapted to existing excavations or supporting structures.
Provide the rise or shaft geometry, total vertical distance, inclination, available opening, access requirements, ground-support information and any nominated site or access standard.
