Drop Board Regulators
Adjustable ventilation regulators for controlling and balancing airflow within underground mine ventilation circuits.
Drop board regulators provide a simple, robust method of varying the free area of a ventilation opening. Airflow is adjusted by adding or removing individual boards, allowing ventilation personnel to increase or reduce resistance through a branch of the ventilation circuit. Metron Engineering regulators are configured around the airway opening, required adjustment range and site handling requirements. The guide frame and boards are developed for repeated operation, secure seating and practical removal or replacement underground.
