Ventilation Doors

Mine ventilation doors for controlling, directing and isolating airflow through main and secondary underground airways.

Ventilation Doors

Metron Engineering ventilation doors are designed around the airway dimensions, ventilation pressure differential and required operating method. The door leaves and supporting frame are engineered to resist pressure loading while transferring those loads into the surrounding bulkhead, structural frame or nominated support arrangement. Depending on the application, the door system can be manually operated, counterweighted or powered. Single-leaf, double-leaf and integrated personnel-access configurations can be developed to suit traffic movements, available clearance and ventilation requirements.
