Metron Engineering PA doors provide personnel access through underground ventilation barriers while maintaining the required separation between ventilation zones. The door leaf, frame, hinges, seals and latching arrangement are engineered around the nominated differential pressure and operating conditions. Particular attention is given to reliable opening and closing under pressure, sealing around the door perimeter, frame load transfer and safe personnel operation. Where higher pressure differentials apply, pressure-equalising arrangements can be incorporated to reduce opening effort before the main door is operated.
Provide the clear opening, ventilation pressure differential, airflow direction, wall or bulkhead construction, preferred door swing and any required safety hardware.
