Substation Gates

Purpose-built swing and sliding access gates for substations, switchyards and secured electrical compounds.

Substation Gates

Metron Engineering substation gates are designed for controlled personnel and vehicle access to electrical infrastructure compounds. Gate geometry, frame members, support posts and hardware are developed around the required clear opening, site fencing arrangement, operating method and project security requirements. For exposed installations, the design can consider wind loading, repeated operating loads, gate self-weight and the loads transferred into posts, foundations or supporting steelwork. Locking, anti-climb, signage and earthing provisions can be incorporated where required by the client or network operator.
